Dreams FC coach fears Aduana Stars 'heartbeat' Yahaya Mohammed
Yahaya Mohamed embraces CK Akonnor during the corresponding fixture.

Dreams FC coach C.K Akonnor has acknowledged the threat of Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed and wants his players to hold him in check.

The former Tema Youth player is the leading scorer in the ongoing league with 12 goals and played an instrumental role for the club during the first leg in Dormaa by scoring a brace in a 4-0 thumping.

The player possesses real threat for the team and makes him a handful for any defensive set up on any day but Akonnor says his defenders are experienced enough to keep him at bay in tomorrow’s game.

"You cannot talk about Aduana Stars without mentioning Yahaya Mohammed- “If you give him a second he can punish you so we don’t need to give him any chance at all," Akonnor told www.dreamsfc.com.

"We need to be highly focused on the game, we need to wake up every second of the game especially the defence.

"Yahaya Mohammed is the heartbeat of the team and therefore, every coach will be worried about him just like we were worried about Latif [Blessing], we saw the threat he gave us [against Liberty] and so Yes, am worried but he’s not the only player who’ll play."

Aduana Stars treks to Dawu on Wednesday after sharing the spoils against New Edubiase United at the weekend.
