Match day nine of the 2016 Ghana Premier League season will be one that will be quickly discarded for Dreams FC following an unimpressive display at the Berekum Golden City Park in Sunyani.

Manager Akonnor's lads suffered  a 3 - 0 defeat to former league champions Berekum Chelsea inwhat can be termed as the worst defeat margin in the history of the club.

Despite playing away from home, Dreams dominated the first half but were undone in the dying embers when Seth Appiah capitalized on a rebound save from goalie Mozart Adjetey in the 42nd minute to record the opener gainst the run of play.

After recess, the away side pushed more for the equalizer with midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey providing the much needed flair in the midfield tussle, however the closest he came was tipped off and well catered for by Chelsea goalie John Mossi.

A brace from Blues skipper Saddick Adams in the last quarter summed up a worse afternoon for the newly promoted side, but may have to pick positives from it's fine possesive display.

The results for Dreams means a 7th spot after nine games in the opening round of the Ghana Premier League and are favourites to better this feat when they play host to Sekondi Hasaacas on match day 10 on May 1, 2016.
