Dreams FC winger Samuel Pimpong has expressed delight after receiving his Ghana Premier League last Sunday, with the youngster glad to get onto the pitch in a competitive match for the first time at the club.

Pimpong made his top-flight debut when he came on to replace Cletus Nombil in Dreams' opening day victory over Elmina Sharks at home.

He was only able to feature for 10 minutes but he made a huge impact as he assisted Zuberu Sharani's 90th minute goal which secured full spoils for Dreams.

“The game was difficult, especially in the first half it was very tough but I am really elated having made my Premier League debut and also providing an assist,” Pimpong told footballmadeinghana.com

“When I came there was pressure on me because it was my first time playing a premier game. We needed a goal and I thank God we had the win.”

“My expectations are that my team gets a good position and I also get enough playing time so that I can show what I am capable of doing,”

Pimpong was promoted to the senior team by manager Karim Zito following a fruitful last season with youth side.
