Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have parted ways with head coach David Duncan by mutual consent, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The future of the tough-talking coach has been the subject of intense speculation for the past few weeks following a recent dire run of form.

The two-parties have reached an amicable settlement in a deal that will see the team compensate the Ghana Under-23 coach US$ 15,000 for abrogating his contract.

His two deputies Kofi Owusu and Kamara Dini will take temporal charge of the club when they host Hearts of Oak in a must-win league game on Wednesday.

"I can say that it done and dusted. Duncan will not be in charge of the club. A lot of things have gone under the bridge and it time for him to move and concentrate on new challenges," A spokesman Owuraku Bartels confirmed.

"I can tell you on authority he will not be on bench when the side plays Hearts of Oak today. There are no hard feelings and for a man who has done so well for Ashgold, it’s time to move on and continue to further his cup in his career."

The club have contacted former King Faisal coach Zdravko Logarusic to take over the club.
