Ebusua Dwarfs influential captain Bismark Asiedu has handed in a transfer request after four seasons at the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The offensive midfielder is touted as one of the best performers in the Ghana top flight.

He holds a Bachelor in Education degree in Health Physical Education Recreation and Sports from the University of Cape-Coast.

Asiedu told GHANAsoccernet.com: "I can confirm to you that I have officially notified the management of Dwarfs about my decision to quit the club this season."

He added that: "Am doing this with a lot of pain in my heart because I love the club very much and am who I am today because of Dwarfs.

"But I am doing this personally in the best interest of the club. There are a lot of internal squabbles within the club at the moment and I have to sacrifice myself to save the club.

"Management is aware of what is happening."

The second transfer window opened on Monday and he is expected to join one of the top guns in the second half of the season.

GHANAsoccernet investigations reveal that several top premier league clubs have made contacts with the midfielder which he also confirmed.

"As for offers, I had a lot of them from all the bigger clubs including Hearts Of Oak and Kotoko but I just decided to stay and even as at now most of them are still on my neck," he said.

Dwarfs have lost just once in 11 matches in the top flight.
