Dwarfs could call for futher ban reduction

Ebusua Dwarfs are yet to officially respond to an Appeals Committee decision to reduce a 12 home-match ban and a fine.

The club appealed a Disciplinary Committee ruling of imposing the ban and a fined of US$ 10,810 (GH¢ 20,000) following a charge of violent misconduct.

Dwarfs will now serve an eight home-match ban and the amount also reduced to US$ 7,216 (GH¢13,350).

The club have hinted they might contest the Appeals Committee ruling after a thorough review.

''We have some few days to respond to this issue but for now we are concentrating on the matches left in the premier league," John Ansah, Special Assistant to Dwarfs Chief Executive, told Joy Sports.

''We will still consider other options and if it becomes positive then we will react to it but if not then we will leave it.''
