Dwarfs defender Sumaila: We are still in title race

Ebusua Dwarfs defender Rashid Sumaila insists his side is not out of the title race despite being a staggering 10-points behind leaders Asante Kotoko.

Dwarfs are currently fifth on the Premier League log but are determined to make a late push for the title despite losing their last game to Liberty Professionals.

The 19-year-old defender however believes his side have what it takes to clinch the league title despite the uphill task they are against.

“We still have the ambition to finish at the top come the season’s end,” he said.

“Yes we lost to Liberty (last matchday) but we are determined to put that behind us and forge ahead to claim the league title.”

Dwarfs will be hoping to get some points on the board to aid their fading title ambitions when they host Aduana Stars this weekend at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
