Great Olympics forward Abel Manomey says they are poised to pick maximum points against Ebusua Dwarfs in week 9 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Manomey, who is the club’s highest scorer in the league with three goals, insists they have used the one week break to sharpen the rough edges of the squad hence Dwarfs will become their first victim in the ongoing campaign.

“The league break for a week so we resumed training on Monday and looking at the load of exercise of what we went through, it’s better,” Manomey told Metro TV.

“We did a lot of pushing on Monday and Tuesday. Today it’s quite okay and we are looking better. We are really preparing very well for Dwarfs. At least, if we can get our first win on Sunday that will be a good start for the club this season.”

“Basically, if you play good football and you don’t win it affect your psyche, it’s been tough but we’ve tried to motivate ourselves intrinsically. And the coaches have also motivated us and on Sunday we are going to break the jinx of not winning in the league,” he concluded.

The Dade Boys currently occupy 13th position on the log with 7 points after 8 matches.
