Ebusua Dwarfs captain Stephen Aidoo has called on the fans to rally behind the team as they fight for survival in the Ghanaian top-flight.
Dwarfs are rocked-bottom after enduring a difficult campaign in the First Capital Plus Premier League this term.
The Cape Coast-based side are now faced with a stark reality of fighting to save their top-flight status with 10 games to end the season.
The club bundled out of the CAF Confederation Cup match after losing 4-0 at Angolan side Petro Athletico and will therefore put their energies on fighting for survival.
Captain Stephen Aidoo wants the fans to support the team in these difficult times.
ââ¬ÅWe are in a very difficult situation but the fans must not lose hope,â⬠he said
ââ¬ÅOur aim is to ensure we fight our relegation status. We want to remain in the League and thatââ¬â¢s where the focus should be.
ââ¬ÅI will urge the fans not go give up. They must rally behind us. I am pleading with them. Weââ¬â¢ll get out of this difficult situation. I can promise them that.ââ¬
The Mysterious side have two games in hand.
