Ebusua Dwarfs coach JE Sarpong has hailed his players after they secured qualification to Ghanaââ¬â¢s top-flight.
Dwarfs held their verve to grind out a pulsating goalless draw game against closest challengers Elmina Sharks on Sunday to book an early return to the elite division.
The Cape Coast-based side has been impressive in the National zone two qualifiers with striker Bright Lukeman scoring outstanding 30-goals for the club in their Premier League pursuit.
And veteran coach JE Sarpong has been left delighted with the feat chalked by his troops.
ââ¬ÅI want to congratulate the players and the management team for this feat. We are very happy and they must be commended,ââ¬â¢ he said
ââ¬ÅIf you have astute men of substance who form the management team, what do you expect ?
ââ¬ÅThe president Nana Sam Brew Butler, chief executive Nana Aidoo and all the other members have been phenomenal.
ââ¬ÅWe have to celebrate today and go back and plan for the Premier League. Itââ¬â¢s not easy to get demoted and make a return after only a year It tells you a lot of hardwork has gone into it.
ââ¬ÅWe must plan to ensure we remain in the top-flight forever.ââ¬
Dwarfs are staging a return to the elite division after only a season in the countryââ¬â¢s second-tier.
