Ebusua Dwarfs coach Mintah blames referee for Amidaus defeat

Ebusua Dwarfs coach JK Mintah has criticized referee Seidu Bomison for his poor handling of their home defeat against Amidaus and wants him striped of the badge.

Dwarfs were shell-shocked at home as goals from in-form Yahaya Mohammed and Roger Adongo condemned them to their first home defeat this season.

The Cape Coast side had the chunk of possession but failed to break down a resolute Amidaus side who punished them with a goal in each half.

Dwarfs coach Professor Mintah was livid with the performace of the centre and wants him to be stripped off the badge.

“I don’t complaing about referees but this particular referee was the cause of our defeat,” an incensed Mintah told reporters.

“We lost to Liberty 3-0 at this same venue and I never complained. So it’s not about losing.

“But the referee must come into the game with an open mind. Clearly he came here with the points in his pocket.

“I’m not saying he should be banned or something but I want the Ghana Football Association to strip him of the badge.

“He doesn’t deserve to wear it. He is an apology of referees in Ghana.”

Dwarfs are 4th on the table with 21 points.
