Aduana Stars midfielder Zakaria Mumuni hopes defeat at the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs will serve as motivation for the club as they seek to win the Ghana Premier League title that they narrowly missed out on last season.
Aduana tasted their first defeat of the campaign following a 2-1 loss against Dwarfs over the weekend, however, Mumuni has played down the negative effect of the defeat
“Yes we dropped points and it is not good for us but we somehow needed the defeat as a group of players.
“The defeat will rather motivate us and make us work harder as we look to cement our place at the summit of the table.
“We will respond immediately when the league returns on April 1”, Zakaria told Sports Crusader.
