Ebusua Dwarfs new recruit Gilbert Fiamenyo shocked by JE Sarpong's dismissal

Newly-signed Ebusua Dwarfs striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has been left shell-shocked by the sacking coach JE Sarpong.

The club has relieved the experienced trainer following their patchy run in the domestic top-flight.

Dwarfs were thrashed 3-0 at Kotoko on Sunday to send them rock-bottom on the table.

And Fiamenyo, who recently joined the side after been frozen out at Hearts of Oak, is surprised at the turn of event.

“This is shocking news for me, I don’t know the reason and I don’t know why the management took that decision. He was nice to me, I don’t have any problem with him. After the game, I just heard he was stepping aside,” he told Accra-based Class FM.

He further adds: “I am ready to work with any coach. I don’t have problems with coaches; any coach who comes to Dwarfs is welcome,” he added.

“ I work with all coaches and I am fine with all coaches. I try to do my best that I can to help the club and that is what I will continue to do.”
