Ebusua Dwarfs coach JE Sarpong has laughed off the exclusion of coaches in the maiden GN Bank Division One League Awards as ‘wishy-washy’.
The outspoken veteran trainer is livid with the decision to leave out coaches in the award scheme, branding it as ‘bogus’.
In a rather shocking turn of event, the country’s second-tier league board announced the awards without a category for coaches.
And the former Liberty Professionals trainer, who guided Dwarfs back to the elite division has criticized the move.
“I don’t fancy categories of awards in this country because they are wishy- washy something. I don’t focus on them but rather do my work to reflect who I am”, he fumed on Takoradi-based Empire FM.
The awards is aimed at rewarding outstanding players and officials who excelled last season.
