Eder: Inter had to beat Hellas Verona

Inter forward Eder acknowledged that the Nerazzurri had to beat Hellas Verona after their 3-3 draw at the Stadio Bentegodi.

The Gialloblu were 3-1 up at one point before the visitors were able to claim a point which still left them disappointed.

“This was a game that we had to win but I think the team put in a good performance,” said Eder to Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“The goals we conceded were all identical and as the coach has said, we will work on that in training during the week.

“I’m disappointed because the reaction was there but we weren’t able to bring the three points home, football is like that.”

The former Sampdoria striker was also asked about what he feels the difference is between the struggling Inter of the moment and the clinical version from earlier in the season.

“I’ve only been here for a week but I can say that we are working well and looking to do our best,” Eder added.

“The team is strong and we will fight until the very end.

“I have to thank all my team-mates who have received me well, whoever plays in attack will make their own contribution.”
