The Egyptian Football Association has informed FIFA their World Cup play-off return leg against will be played at either the Cairo International or the Borg Al Arab Stadium.

But the North African country could not confirm the exact date for the second leg tie although a FIFA deadline elapsed on FIFA.

The current political instability in Egypt is making it difficult for authorities to confirm a venue and date for the crucial assignment.

Egypt can choose a day between 15-19 November to host the Black Stars.

Said Ahmed Mujahid, a member of the Egyptian FA, told FilGoal.com: "We sent a letter to FIFA on Friday telling him that the game will be played on one of stadiums Cairo or Borg Al Arab, and to force negotiations with the Egyptian security forces to agree on their playground.

"And we have made clear in the letter that the Egyptian Federation has plenty of time before the return match to determine the venue."

The first leg will be played on 15 October at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
