Eibar coach José Luis Mendilibar is wary of the threat posed by ‘explosive’ Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso ahead of his side’s trip to Las Palmas on Saturday.

Wakaso, 25, has had an explosive start to life at the Estadio de Gran Canaria where he has shone against giants Barcelona and Sevilla in their last two games.

The Ghana international has been lethal on the wings where his pace and power has cause many problem to defenders and Eibar coach José Luis Mendilibar is worried about the threat of the former Celtic loanee.

"I don't know if he will play Wakaso or Culio. They are different. Wakaso is much more explosive and we have to be careful.”

The Rubin Kazan midfielder is expected to play a key role for the side as they aim for only the second win of the season.
