Eintracht Braunschweig are unable to field half-Ghanaian attacker Karim Bellarabi for their Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen due to contract terms.

The 23-year-old was left out of the squad to travel to the BayArena because his loan agreement does not allow him to play against Bayer Leverkusen.

Before the start of the Bundesliga season, Leverkusen deemed the German-born surplus to requirement at the club and farmed him on a season's loan spell to Braunschweig but inserted a clause in his contract which prevents him from playing against them.

Braunschweig will desperately miss the attacker as he has been influential despite their poor campaign so far this season.

He has scored 3 times in 21 Bundesliga games.
