Seoul: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is facilitating the inaugural AFC MA Futsal Instructors Course organised by the Korea Football Association (KFA) at the Paju Training Centre in Seoul, Korea Republic.

The aim of the seven-day course is to develop and select instructors to expand Futsal in Korea Republic

The course was launched by Hwang Bo Kwan, the Technical Director of KFA, who said: “This is a milestone in the history of Futsal for Korea Republic in which this important event has taken place for the first time in our country."

"I am very grateful that Ali Targholizadeh (AFC Futsal Technical Director) is leading our very important instructors course to identify future Futsal instructors for Korea Republic and Asia as well," said Hwang.

Targholizadeh, who is an AFC Elite Futsal Instructor, said Korea Republic has produced many potential coaches.

"Through education, the standard of the coaches and players has increased and improved extremely well," said Targholizadeh.

The AFC Elite Futsal instructors recommended 13 candidates based on the AFC Futsal Instructors' criteria to participate in the course.
