Elmina Sharks coach Kobina Amissah thought his side deserved more than the 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak in Accra.
The debutants took the lead in the 59th minute through Joseph Mensah but allowed Hearts to draw level four minutes later.
Midfield icon Winful Cobbinah curled in a superb free-kick.
''I'm disappointed with the 1-1 scoreline, we had great opportunities to score and if we had scored that goals we will be leading Hearts of Oak by two goals before they can equalize,'' Amissah said after the game.
''All the same it is a fair game, goal scoring is difficult in Ghana here and i kept on saying it always difficult to see people scoring more goals.''
