Elmina Sharks coach Kobina Amissah wants all Division One League matches for this weekend rescheduled to boost crowds for the MTN FA Cup final.

Alternatively, Amissah is suggesting all matches can be played on Saturday so there is massive attention on the Asante Kotoko-Medeama showdown at the Sekondi Stadium on 30 August.

“I don’t think fans in Takoradi can fill the stadium and moreover we already know about the teams who have qualified. For me, the whole of country must enjoy this big final between Kotoko and Medeama,” Amissah told GHANASoccernet.com

“All coaches will like to come from far and near to watch this match so why should the Division League go on. Even the Premier League is on hold to make way for this final.”

Kotoko will be facing Medeama for second time in the history of the Cup competition after both sides met in Accra in 2013 where the latter won.
