Head Coach of Elmina Sharks Yaw Acheampong was left wondering what could have been after his side conceded a last-gasp goal at Dreams FC.

Acheampong believes Sharks should have won full spoils but suffered a 1-0 defeat to Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League opener on Sunday.

The club, that finished ninth last season suffered their first defeat this season after Zeberu "I won't say I'm disappointed because in football anything at all can happen but it's just a small mistake that caused us the loss," he said in a post match interview.

"Getting to the latter part of the game we decided to kill the game because we decided that if we can get a win we have to fight for a point and go back, but it's just unfortunate our left back cost us," he added.

"Our game plan worked because when we came here we knew there is a disadvantage of the pitch so we decided to soak the pressure first half and open up in the second half and I think they did exactly that. We had a couple of chances we should have finished but this is football."

Elmina Sharks have targeted finishing fourth this season following the recruitment of several experienced players. Former Kotoko player Richard Mpong ended the game man of the match.
