Elmina Sharks owner Papa Kwesi Nduom has vowed his side will qualify to the Ghana Premier League despite trailing leaders Ebusua Dwarfs by six-points with four games to end the season.

The Elmina-based side are in neck-to-neck race with the former Premier League campaigners for a single qualification slot to the country’s elite division.

The 2012 presidential candidate of the opposition Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has vowed his side will qualify at the expense of Dwarfs at all cost.

“We are going to ensure Elmina Sharks will play in the elite division next season,” he said

“This club is going to play against big clubs like Kotoko and Hearts. I can promise you that we’ll qualify at all cost.

The club is constructing multi-dollar stadia at Elmina ahead of an anticipated qualification to the top-flight.
