Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu says Feyenoord have shifted their ambitions towards the domestic scene after getting eliminated from the Uefa Europa League.

Feyenoord got eliminated from the knock-out phase of the Europa League after losing 3-2 on aggregate against Italian Serie A lords AS Roma.

Manu scored Feyenoord's consolation goal in their 2-1 home reverse in the second-leg in the Netherlands.

"It's not good news that we are out of the competition. We played well but now we have to put our focus on the league," he said.

Feyenoord are fourth on the Eredivisie ladder and would to up their performance if they are secure a place for Europe next season.

Manu has been one of the best players for Feyenoord this season in both their domestic and continental campaigns.
