Aduana Stars midfielder Elvis Opoku has insisted that their busy fixture congestion could hinder their chances of defending the Ghana Premier League crown.

The Fire Boys have plethora of outstanding games coming up due to the involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Dormaa-based outfit have won of the six outstanding games on Thursday against Liberty Professionals.

They are set to play another outstanding game on Sunday before their Confederation Cup tie against Raja Casablanca on Wednesday.

“For now, we will be taking it match after match. In the team everyone can play any match in the league and in Africa."

"We only need the strength now to countenance the numerous games that will be coming our way,” Elvis said after the game against Liberty Professionals."

“We hope to win at least four of our outstanding league games which can push us to a better position on the league log. Our ambition is to defend the league trophy again,” he added.
