Udinese have no plans of selling their Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu this summer, club owner Giampaolo Pozzo has revealed.
Badu has attracted a number of interest from many clubs including Italian giants Juventus and AS Roma who are believed to be in a tussle for his signature.
But club president Giampaolo Pozzo has confirmed he has no plans of selling his players this summer as reports surrounding the future of his top stars intensify.
Udinese is a club with a selling policy but have an exceptional scouting network that has allowed them to profit from the sale of developed players.
Having seen the likes of Kwadwo Asamoah and Alexis Sanchez being sold in recent times, their fans are beginning to question their sell-out policy with fears it could cripple the team in the long-term.
But the Udinese chief has allayed the fears of the supporters by insisting he will not sell this summer.
ââ¬ÅIf we sell, then we will buy,â⬠Pozzo explained.
ââ¬ÅWith virtuous management we have been able to balance the budget. We do not need to sell, but we know we are a small team and that we have some big players.ââ¬
ââ¬ÅMany of the boys are young and ambitious, so it is difficult for them to say no when a big club comes calling.ââ¬
The news will come as a massive blow to the Ghanaian international who would fancied a move to one of Europeââ¬â¢s elite clubs.
