Ghana striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene has not given up hopes of a future Black Stars call-up.

Banahene, 27, has been in outstanding form since joining Egyptian outfit Ismaily.

The former ?anl?urfaspor and Al-Orobah attacker has been overlooked for international call-up despite churning out decent displays abroad.

But the bouncy striker is refusing to give up hope on his international career.

I have not given up hope at all. I have been called in the past and I’m looking forward to a call-up again,” he told Accra-based Peace FM

“When I was invited I didn’t get the opportunity, but I’m still looking forward to it. I have patience.”

Banahen is in his native Ghana after tying the knot with his long-time girlfriend.
