Emmanuel Boateng's UD Levante earn praises from ace Laliga expert Guilleme Balague

Spanish Laliga expert Guilleme Balague has lavished praises on Emmanuel Boateng and his UD Levante team-mates for their remarkable performance in the latter stages of the season.

The Frogs were one of the bookies to fall out from the top flight league following their 15 match winless streak.

However, the club's fortunes has changed dramatically since the appointment of Paco Lopez as manager of the side.

The Valencia-based outfit have recorded eight out of 10 games played under the young gaffer.

"You have to give credit to Levante on an extraordinary season. Paco Lopez has done an unbelievable job with this team," he told Skysports.

"He has asked the players to be more offensive, but more importantly, he has released them of pressure."

He says: "Be free, do what you can do on the pitch, don't do more, don't do less." Everyone has been better since then."

"Starting with Morales in central midfield, he has been one of the stars of the season, even before Paco Lopez came in, plus Emmanuel Boateng, Roger Marti and Enis Bardhi, three more players that have been extraordinary for them. They have quality, commitment, strength and pace."

Levante ended Barcelona's 43-match winning streak on Sunday in 5-4 thriller, with Boateng bagging a hat-trick in the game.
