Emmanuel Frimpong unlikely to be offered new Arsenal deal

Would-be Ghana international Emmanuel Frimpong could be on his way out of Arsenal after reports claimed he has been denied a new deal.

Frimpong's contract with Arsenal runs out at the end of the season-with the Gunners not expected to begin negotiations over a new contract.

Manager Arsene Wenger has not been impressed with his attitude and discipline.

The 20-year-old could leave the Emirates Stadium in January after spending 11 years at the club.

Frimpong spent a loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers last season in the English Premier League

But his stint at the Molineux was cut short after five games when he injured his cruciate ligaments.

He made a return from the seven-month lay-off last month and has played two matches for Arsenal in the League Cup.

Frimpong has made 16 senior appearances for the Gunners.
