Ex-Ghana international Emmanuel Osei Kuffour has revealed his admiration to take to coaching when he calls time on his career.

The former Heart of Oak attacker enjoyed an incredible success with the club after helping the side to win the 2000 African Champions League.

After stints with AshGold and boyhood club Asante Kotoko in the past, the versatile player is keen to continue with the game on the touchline

"I want to still stay in the game and so I'm looking at the probability of travelling outside to undertake coaching courses that will equip me in that regard," Kuffour said.

"Many people have told me I have the qualities to be a good coach in the future and that's what I want to take shot at it when I retire from the game."

The Ghana Football Association recently warned persons who fail to get the necessary coaching certification will be thrown out of the game.
