ENGLAND/ STOKE CITY, Possible renewal for Odemwingie and Ireland

Published on: 09 February 2016

Stoke City squad players Stephen Ireland and Peter Odemwingie could still earn new deals at the Britannia Stadium, according to boss Mark Hughes.

The pair are out of contract in the summer, but Hughes says everyone has time to impress between now and the end of the season.

"What have we got left, 12 games," said Hughes, according to the Stoke Sentinel. "So there's a big opportunity there for anyone who wants to grasp it.

"It's certainly within everyone's interests to play well between now and the end of the season. And then there are decisions I have to make regarding certain players."
