The head coach of England’s U-20 team Keith Downing says he expects the friendly against Ghana to bring the best out of his squad.
The young three Lions will take on the Black Satellites on the 27th of March in Doncaster and Keith says he expects a tough encounter from the Africans.
“It is a really exciting game we have to look forward to against African opposition, and Ghana have notoriously done well at youth level so it will be a good test for us.
“It’s vitally important that the players get the right exposure to the different challenges of international football, and having games against different opponents from all continents, such as Ghana, is really important for their development.”
