Newly-promoted English Premier League side Watford have included Ghanaian starlet Bernard Mensah in their squad for the upcoming campaign.

The 20-year-old young forward trained with Quique Sánchez Flores's squad for the pre-season but has now joined the Hornets' U21 squad for their games.

Mensah was on target for the U21 side as they suffered a 2-1 against Queens Park Rangers in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday.

Though he will be mainly with the U21 squad but manager Flores will fall on his talent for Cup games.

He joined Watford in the 2013/2014 season and has had loan spells at Braintrain and Barnet.

This means the youngster joins Black Stars quartet Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp and Christian Atsu who are all in the English Premier League for the season.

Norwich City's Alexander Tettey is Ghanaian but has naturalized for Norway.
