English side Solihull Moors re-sign Ghanaian striker Akwasi Asante on loan

Ghanaian striker Akwasi Asante has re-signed for National League strugglers Solihull until January from League Two club Grimsby Town.

The 25-year-old scored 21 goals as the Moors won promotion to non-league's top-tier in the 2015/16 season.

The Amsterdam born frontman scored on his last outing for Town, back in March, when he fired a late leveller in the 1-1 draw at Accrington Stanley.

He then joined the Mariners in January on a deal until the summer of 2018.

Solihull are 23rd in the National League table, one point ahead of bottom club Torquay United, and have only won two of their 15 league matches.
