West Ham could revisit moves for Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan, according to report from the British media on Wednesday.

Hammers look safe on 37 points following Monday's victory and are now targeting "three to five" quality signings and a cull of current squad.

Manager Sam Allardyce has reignited his interest in the Al Ain attacker and could attempt a move for him during the summer transfer.

The powerful ex-Sunderland striker is a priority for the Hammers who have started planning for next season.

Gyan, confirmed as Ghana’s captain for this summer’s World Cup, is the leading top scorer in the gulf region.

He moved to the club from Sunderland on an initial loan deal in 2011 and made the move permanent a year later, signing a lucrative five-year deal.
