Eric Bekoe targets top 4 finish with Hasaacas; goal king not necessary

Sekondi Hasaacas striker Eric Bekoe has disclosed that his target for his new side is to get them into the top 4 of Ghana’s elite division league, insisting that winning the goal king is not part of his plans.

Bekoe, 28, who signed a one-year contract with the Sekondi-based side told GHANAsoccernet.com that he is not dreaming of being crowned the goal king again as he hopes to keep the club agenda paramount.

“For now, Hasaacas is my main priority. Helping Hasacas to finish in the top four is more important than anything.

Many will be expecting the goals to flow to win the goal king but the progress of Hasaacas is more important than anything,” Bekoe said.

The former Asante Kotoko striker whose presence has livened the training grounds of the Dooo Boys believes that helping the side to a respectable position on the league table will make him proud than winning the goal king.
