German giants Borussia Dortmund are seeking to sign Accra Hearts of Oak prodigy Eric Kumi after watching the exploits of the teenage striker.

Agents of the Bundeliga side visited Ghana last month to observe some talented players for recruitment to boost their youth side for the future.

Kumi, who is a member of Ghana's U20 side the Black Satellites, caught the eyes of the scouts  of the Dortmund who are expected to start talks with Hearts over the move.

The Germans will make initial enquiries about the youngster before slapping an official offer to sign the player from the Ghanaian giants.

Still on the cards will be the potential for the youngster to travel to Germany to have trials in Dortmund before the decision is taken to sign him.

Kumi is in his first season at Hearts and has two years remaining on his contract with the Phobians.
