Ghanaian international winger Ernest Asante continued his impressive scoring the only goal of the game for Stabaek in their narrow win over Mjondalen on Sunday evening.

The 26-year-old scored a sensational curler in the 70th minute following a masterclass pass from Belgian international El Ghanassy.

Though the visitors tried to frustrate their Stabaek, the exceptional vision and artistry of Asante, who had earned the praise of boss Bob Bradley, won the game for Stabaek.

He picked a loose pass from the right and turned out a defender before sending a curler past the visitors keeper for his second league goal since the start of the season.

Asante started the game along with former Liberty Professionals youth midfielder Kamal Issah who was replaced in the 65th minute at the Nadderud Stadion before 4000 home fans.
