Turkey-based Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko has expressed sympathy with victims of Saturday’s bombings in the capital Ankara.
Two powerful bombs exploded near the main train station this morning, targeting a peace rally and causing carnage.
According to reports, a least 97 people were killed and more than 400 injured.
Akaminko, who plays for Turkish Super Lig side Eskisehirspor, who took to Twitter to post: My thoughts & prayers with families and friends of the victims. Sad day for #Turkey. Pray for peace.

The explosions, which caused chaos and bloodshed, took place during a peace march involving, among others, the pro-Kurdish HDP, or People's Democratic Party.
