Esperance star Harrison Afful has congratulated compatriot Seidu Salifu for winning this season’s Tunisian League with Club Africain.

The Reds were crowned champions on Tuesday afternoon with a 2-1 win at Esperance Sportive de Zarzis.

Salifu played 80 minutes in that final league match which was a fraction of the 26 games he started this term.

“He’s young and was at his best because I watched and played against him this season. He deserves all the praises and I wish him well,” Afful told GHANASoccernet.com.

“The Tunisian League is very difficult so I know what I’m talking about. I wish him all the best.”

Afful had to settle for third place as Esperance finished five points behind the league leaders.
