Ethics Committee cautions Jane Ayieyam to avoid making unsubstantiated allegations

The GFA Ethics Committee has advised Jane Ayieyam to desist from making allegations she cannot substantiate after the Police Ladies forward appeared before the Committee for comments she made against match officials in their 7th Week match against Hasaacas.

DECISIONS:

Jane Ayieyam appeared before the Ethics Committee and when asked if she could substantiate her allegation against the match officials who handled the match between Hasaacas Ladies and Police Ladies during the 7th week in the 2015 Women League, she said she made those statements in a fit of anger.

She told the Committee that she had already gone on air (Asempa FM) to retract and apologized for all that she had said.

The Committee was satisfied with her approach to the issue and advised her to desist from making allegation for which she had no proof of.
