Wales 0-0 Northern Ireland

It has been a tough first half between Wales and Northern Ireland, that had the first choice with Dallas but his strike was well claimed by Wales keeper Wayne Hennessey.

Gareth Bale gave his first sign of threat with a cross into the box for Aaron Ramsey, but the ball went through to McGovern in the Northern Ireland penalty area.

Then Wales had a great chance with the Arsenal midfielder who scored but was caught offside: still a clean sheet between the two sides.

Northern Ireland's Ward tried to score with a powerful shoot but Hennessey was ready to scramble the ball over the bar with the second great save of the game.
