Midfielder Alhassan Wakaso made his first appearance for Rio Ave this season in their 0-0 draw game against Slavia Prague in the Europa League third qualifying round first leg tie.
Wakaso was given a start by new coach Nuno Capucho and he did not disappoint.
He lasted the entire duration and showed no sign of disinterest despite being at the center of a genuine transfer tussle from clubs across Europe.
The 0-0 draw score-line picked up from the first game in Czech Republic means Ave have the advantage going back to the Estádio dos Arcos for the second leg.
