A number of Ghanaian internationals enjoyed mixed results with their various clubs in the Uefa Europa first qualifying round first legs on Thursday evening.

There were as many as 51 games in the preliminary round of the competition with five Ghanaian players in action.

Former Ghana U20 defender Ebenezer Ofori was booked in the 37th minute and played full throttle for Swedish Allsvenskan side AIK Solna who fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Finnish side VPS.

Midfielder Seidu Yahaya picked 93rd minute booking as his played the entire game for Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol  who succumbed to a 3-0 home defeat against Norwegian side Odd Grenland.

Duo Mohammed Abu and Bismark Adjei-Boateng were in full time action for Norwegian side Stromsgodset as they triumphed 3-1 over Albanian side Partizani.

Obeng Regan was not in the Cukaricki team as the Serbian side managed a slim 1-0 win over Domzale in an away fixture.
