Ghanaian defender Samuel Mensah played a vital role in helping Ostersunds defeat CS Fola Esch in the Europa League third qualifying round second leg at the Stade Emile Mayrisch on Thursday night.
Ostersunds held a 1-0 advantage over Fola into the second leg and had to avoid a defeat to advance to the final round of the qualifiers phase.
Both sides failed to find the back of the net in the opening 45 minutes.
Fola broke the deadlock of the encounter on the 53rd minute courtesy Stefano Bensi but Ostersunds quickly restored parity in the 59th minute via Saman Ghoddos after connecting to to Fouad Bachirous's corner kick.
Tom Pattersson gave the visitors the lead in the 66th minute, which proved to the nail in the coffin for the Luxembourg minnows.
Versatile defender Samuel Mensah played full throttle for Graham Potter's side as they march on to the next stage of the qualifying round.
