Ghanaian players enjoyed mixed results in Thursday night's Uefa Europa League as midfielder Obeng Regan exited the competition with Serbian side ?ukari?ki after succumbing to an away defeat.

Regan saw his Serbian side kicked out of the competition after losing away.

But there was joy for defender Ebenezer Ofori and striker Abdul Majeed Waris as they recorded vital results.

Abu played full throttle for Stromsgodset at Drammen as the former Norwegian champions gave out a 1-0 victory to Czech Republican side Mladá Boleslav but advanced on a 2-2 aggregate despite losing 1-0 in Norway on Thursday night.

Elsewhere former Ghana U20 defender Ebenezer Ofori was booked in the 58th minute as he played 90 minutes for Swedish Allsvenskan giants AIK Solna who beat Shirak FC 2-0 to win progress on a 4-0 aggregate.

Striker Abdul Majeed Waris could not get on target for Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor who booked their place with a 2-1 away triumph over Differdange 03.

Former Asante Kotoko youth team midfielder Obeng Regan was brought on in the 55th minute to play the rest of the game for Serbian side ?ukari?ki as they watched their qualification slipped away after losing 2-0 at Qabala in Czech Republic.

Versatile Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey missed FC Copenhagen's 3-1 victory over Wales side Newtown as they progressed on a 5-1 aggregate.
