Everton boss Ronald Koeman demanding £100M summer budget

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is demanding a massive summer transfer budget from owner Farsad Moshiri.

The Sunday Mirror says Koeman will demand the £100million war-chest to rebuild Everton if Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley leave the Toffees this summer.

Everton now believe they are fighting a lost cause trying to persuade England midfielder Barkley to re-sign at the club - especially as Lukaku has made it clear he now also wants to quit Goodison Park with just over two years left on his current deal.

And that has left Toffees' boss Koeman telling wealthy Monaco-based owner Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright he expects them to cough up whatever cash Everton generate from selling their two most prized assets Lukaku and Barkley.

With 23-year-old Belgian hitman Lukaku conservatively valued at £65million after scoring 27 goals in 33 appearances for club and country this season and midfielder Barkley worth around £35 million as he heads into the last year of his contract, Koeman expects to be handed the lot to finance a new era at Everton.
