Everton in Nottingham Forest talks for teen Brennan Johnson

Everton are moving for Nottingham Forest youngster Brennan Johnson.

The Telegraph reports the teenage midfielder is a long-term target for the Toffees.

And Ronald Koeman's side have made multiple bids rejected by the Championship club.

Everton director of football Steve Walsh is now set to enter negotiations with Forest as they look to get a deal across the line before the end of the season.

They are looking for more exciting young players who will develop in the future.

And it would seem Johnson, 15, fits the bill and could join the likes of young stars Ademola Lookman - an £11m signing in January - and fellow 19-year-old Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who joined last summer.
