Everton line up £20m Lukaku bid to secure Ghana's Atsu on loan from Chelsea
Christian Atsu is wanted by English side Everton

Everton are looking to complete the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea to ensure the arrival of his Ghanaian team-mate Christian Atsu on loan.

Chelsea loaned Lukaku out to Everton last season, guiding the club to Europa League qualification with 15 league goals in 31 appearances.

And Roberto Martinez is reportedly lining up an £20m bid for the Belgium international's services this summer.

The Toffees are keen to sign the 21-year-old striker on a permanent deal to loan Ghana winger Atsu, because they are unable to loan two players from the same Premier League club.

Atsu, 22, enjoyed a fine season-long spell at Eredivisie side Vitesse last term, scoring five goals and assisting six.

Bundesliga side Wolfsburg and Serie A champions Juventus are also heavily linked with a move for Lukaku, but the Belgian is reported to be favouring a Goodison Park return.

Andre Villas-Boas signed the target man from Anderlecht in the summer of 2011 but is yet to score a goal for Chelsea in his 15 outings.
