The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have refused to foot the bill of former Black Stars deputy trainer Gerard Nus, according to media reports.

Multiple media reports suggested that, the 32-year old Spaniard was blocked from vacating from his hotel suit after the Ghana FA decided against footing his bill.

Gerard, who was the assistant coach of the Black Stars to the departed Israeli coach Avram Grant during the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon has refused to leave his hotel room since the end of the tournament due to the FA's failure to pay his bonuses and Salary.

However, when he had a call on Saturday from the Ghana FA's secretary Alex Asante to come for his money and leave for his native country, he was blocked by the authorities at the Alisa Hotel due to arrears owed during his stay, which resulted in him missing his scheduled flight.

The stranded coach had no option than to sleep in a couch at the hotel till Sunday.
